Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Goodcure Online Clinic and Pharmacy, a trading name of Goodcure Ltd. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Services Provided

Goodcure Online Clinic and Pharmacy offers private healthcare services, including:

  • Virtual consultations conducted by licensed doctors, pharmacists, or suitably qualified prescribers.
  • The provision of prescription medications and pharmacy-only items, subject to clinical assessment and approval.
  • The sale of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines following completion of an initial safety questionnaire and review by a pharmacist or prescriber.

Please note:

  • All services provided are private. We do not offer any NHS services.
  • Prescriptions issued during consultations are automatically sent to Goodcure Pharmacy for preparation and delivery.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

4. Consultations

  • Customers and patients must complete an initial online consultation/safety questionnaire prior to purchasing prescription items and pharmacy-only items.
  • Following this, the pharmacist or prescriber will review the information provided as well as the item requested and will only approve the sale if they deem it to be safe, legal, and clinically appropriate.
  • The assessing pharmacist or prescriber may request further information, documentation, or conduct an over-the-phone or video consultation with the customer/patient as part of the assessment process.
  • The overall fee for all consultations (including the initial and any follow-up consultations relating to the sale) is £9.99, payable only at the time of purchasing the item.
  • This consultation fee is non-refundable.

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

5. Prescriptions

  • A private prescription will be produced by a qualified prescriber for the provision of prescription-only items.
  • A private prescription will also be produced for the provision of over-the-counter (OTC) items when:
    • The quantity provided is different from what is included in the original packaging, or
    • The indication for use differs from the product license for OTC sale.
  • By default, the private prescription will be used by Goodcure Pharmacy to dispense the item, and the item will then be delivered to the service user’s stated shipping address.
  • Service users may request not to have the item dispensed by Goodcure Pharmacy and instead have the prescription delivered to them. In such cases:
    • The item cost will be refunded to the service user.
    • A standard prescription fee of £5.99 will be charged.
  • The service user can then take this prescription to any pharmacy in the UK to obtain their item.
  • Prescription fees, like the sale of medicinal goods, are non-refundable once the prescription has been sent out for delivery.

6. Payment

  • Fees for consultations and prescriptions will be clearly communicated before the service is provided.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking the consultation or purchasing the item.
  • We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and online payment platforms.
  • We may use Stripe Radar, which records the IP address of the payment card, as a further security measure to verify identification and minimize the risk of inappropriate treatment requests under different accounts.
  • All payment processing complies with PCI DSS standards for secure transactions.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Service users can request a refund for any item or prescription purchased before the item or prescription is shipped out for delivery. In such instances, the full cost of the item or prescription will be returned to the service user (minus the consultation fee).
  • Likewise, if a sale is not approved by the pharmacist or prescriber or not fulfilled for any other reason, the full cost of the item will be refunded automatically (minus the consultation fee).
  • Consultation fees are non-refundable in any case.
  • Refunds for items or prescriptions will not be issued after items have been shipped.
  • The only exception to this policy is if the product sent to the patient is incorrect. In such cases, the patient will be given the option to receive a full refund or have the item replaced with the correct one. Such cases are expected to be extremely rare and will warrant an appropriate internal investigation.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Your personal information and medical records are confidential and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at [Insert Privacy Policy Link].
  • We use secure technology to protect your data during consultations and transactions.
  • All personal information relating to service users will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, except where the law necessitates that such information is shared, or where this is felt to be in the patient’s best interest, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, the Safeguarding Act, and other relevant legislation.
  • By using any of our services, including completing online health forms or making a purchase of any item, service users provide full consent for the assessing clinician to access any available health records relating to the service user. This includes but is not limited to the NHS Summary Care Record.
  • Service users also provide full consent for the assessing pharmacist/clinician to contact the service user’s GP or any other healthcare provider in order to obtain clinical information regarding the service user as well as provide information.
  • The access of any clinical or personal data relating to service users will only ever be done for clinical purposes.
